本文介绍一种能用于可调谐光衰耗器的新型光波导 ,其包层为金属汞 ,包层长度灵活可变。理论分析和实验均表明 ,这种光波导的光功率衰耗与包层长度成正比 ,在 1.3μm光波长 ,当芯径为 40 0~ 6 2 μm时 ,对应光功率的衰减为 0 .0 4~ 0 .16 d B/ mm,以此光波导为基础的可调谐光衰耗器具有结构简单、性能优越等特点 ,其测量精度可达 0 .0 3d B
This article presents a new type of optical waveguide that can be used with a tunable optical attenuator. Its cladding is metallic mercury, and the cladding length is flexible. The theoretical analysis and experiments show that the optical power attenuation of the optical waveguide is proportional to the cladding length. At the wavelength of 1.3μm, when the core diameter is 40 0 ~ 6 2 μm, the corresponding optical power attenuation is 0. 4 ~ 0.16 d B / mm, the optical waveguide-based tunable optical attenuator has the advantages of simple structure, superior performance and the like, and the measuring precision can reach 0 .0 3dB
