立筒仓由于储量大,占地面积小,装卸系统配套、机械化程度高,所以在我国发展迅速。但是立筒仓储粮防虫在我国还没有成熟的经验,由于仓体混凝土施工普遍存在气密性差的问题,补漏非常困难。加上粮层深、磷化氢的渗透能力有限,给立筒仓的熏蒸造成很大困难。上海市粮食储运公司科研室等单位在立筒仓熏蒸方面作了大量试验工作,积累了一定的经验。国内还未见施用保护剂于立筒仓的报道。我们考虑,保护剂应用于立筒仓有独特的优点:1.立筒仓上粮输送系统配套,用机械喷雾法随上粮时施药非常方便,2.保护剂主要以胃毒和触杀(有的也兼具一定熏蒸性能)方式杀灭害虫,对装具的气密性不作要求。3.保护剂防虫有效期长,一次施药后,可以安全储藏一年左右、保管方便,安全。1985年6月,我们在四川省崇庆县道明粮库利用小麦收购入仓期间,施用防虫磷处理小麦200余万斤。截至1986年3月份开始逐步调出,整个期间中保证了安全储藏。道明粮库立筒仓为1978年冬季施工修建。它是由10个内径6米、高13米的筒仓作园形分布、中间再围成一个大筒仓,大仓中心到小仓中心为10.4米,仓壁厚0.37米。大仓容量约250万斤,小仓总容量约450万斤。仓底部为锥形,设有地槽安装出粮输送系统,仓内壁作了沥清防潮处理,仓气密性很差。1981年大雨后地槽淹没、出粮系统折除,采取了一定维修措施,但地槽仍很潮湿。修建后至今周围的十个小园仓没有使用过。为了利用仓容,1985年决定进行施用保护剂储粮防虫试验。
