全面回顾和总结成人高等教育的发展情况,对于我国高等教育落实科学发展观、推进教育服务社会主义和谐社会建设有着重要意义。通过数据分析表明,1991～2005年间江苏成人高等教育规模持续扩大,专业设置与经济社会发展需求保持动态对接,成人属性有所加强,为江苏省的高等教育大众化和经济社会发展做出了重要贡献。但是,成人高等教育也需要进一步加快学科结构调整、大力发展农村成人高等教育、促进教育公平等。
A comprehensive review and summary of the development of adult higher education is of great significance to our country’s higher education in implementing the scientific concept of development and promoting education to serve the building of a harmonious socialist society. The data analysis shows that from 1991 to 2005, the scale of adult higher education in Jiangsu continued to expand. The professional settings and the needs of economic and social development kept in line with each other, and the adult attributes were strengthened, making an important contribution to the popularization of higher education and economic and social development in Jiangsu Province . However, adult higher education also needs to further speed up the disciplinary structure adjustment, vigorously develop rural adult higher education and promote education fairness.
