黑人美学家认为“黑人性”是黑人文学艺术的独特性,是黑人文化的灵魂和根基。在兰斯顿.休斯的诗歌中,黑人有着不可否认的黑人种族身份,有着值得颂扬的美。他超越了种族视角的局限,从美国性的角度来审视自己民族的存在。同时,休斯主张保存具有黑人文化底蕴的种族文化,他将黑人方言和黑人音乐引入诗歌,充分表达了将黑人文学与主流文化并置的愿望。休斯思想上的超越和艺术上的创新标志着黑人美学思想的大飞跃。
Black aestheticians think “black sex” is the uniqueness of black literature and art and the soul and foundation of black culture. In Langston Hughes’s poetry, blacks have undeniable black ethnic identity, with a glorious beauty. He goes beyond the limits of racial perspective and examines the existence of his own nation from the perspective of the United States. At the same time, Hughes advocated the preservation of a racial culture with black culture. He introduced black dialect and black music to poetry, fully expressing his desire to juxtapose black literature with mainstream culture. Hughes’s transcendence of ideas and artistic innovations mark a great leap forward in black aesthetic thoughts.
