宋代是中国花鸟画的鼎盛时期。其中北宋的院体花鸟画更加灿烂辉煌,其内容题材、表现形式以及艺术风格等方面,都达到了中国绘画史上一个鼎盛时期,是中国艺术精神的极至境界。北宋前期的花鸟画主要继承传统五代画风,画法多宗“徐黄”二体。北宋后期,由于宋徽宗赵佶对绘画的特殊爱好及倡导,花鸟画以院体为主流进一步向工笔写实发展,笔法严谨细腻,使工笔花鸟画达到颠峰水平。
Song Dynasty is the heyday of Chinese bird painting. Among them, the flower and bird paintings in the Northern Song Dynasty are more splendid and magnificent. The content themes, expressions and artistic styles have all reached a heyday in the history of Chinese painting. They are the extreme realm of the Chinese artistic spirit. The early Northern Song and Yuan Dynasties flowers and birds mainly inherit the traditional Five Dynasties style of painting, painting more than “Xu Huang ” body. In the late period of the Northern Song Dynasty, due to the special love and advocacy of Zhao Huo by the Huizong Emperor Zhao Huo, the flowers and birds painting took the courtyard as the main stream to further develop the realistic style of writing. The style of writing was rigorous and delicate, bringing the finest flower and bird paintings to the peak level.
