零售业营销专家李飞认为,像美人街等市场,大部分都是同城进货,出货以零售为主,和传统的小商品批发市场有一定的差别,在国际上这种市场被称为室内摊贩街。室内摊贩街的存在是合理的,是国际上通行的一种零售方式,它既是露天集贸市场的一种发展形式(由室外转到室内),也是购物中心的一种初级形式。京城正处在露天集贸市场向购物中心转轨的过程,中间需要经过室内摊贩街的阶段。但是目前京城投资室内服装街的热潮不退,已出现了盲目化的投资倾向。互相模仿的运作方法导致布局雷同,重视短期利益大力炒作而忽视长远发展。在未来一段时间内,会有多家室内摊贩街关闭或转型。

However, the current capital investment in indoor clothing street ups and downs, there has been a blind tendency to invest. Operating methods that imitate one another lead to similarities in layout and to vigorous speculation on short-term interests while neglecting long-term development. In the next period of time, there will be a number of indoor street stalls closed or restructuring.
