1917年,列宁领导的俄国十月革命开辟了人类历史的新纪元。十月革命第一次把社会主义从书本上的学说变成活生生的现实。由于十月革命发生在情况和中国相同(封建压迫严重)或近似(经济文化落后)的北方邻国,因而对中国人民具有特殊的吸引力。一个工人、农民当家作主的新国家的诞生,使正处在苦难和黑暗中的中国人民看到新的出路和光明前景,给中国先进分子正在苦思焦虑地探索着的种种问题提供合理的解答,更给予为民族独立和人民 In 1917, the October Revolution led by Lenin opened a new era in human history. For the first time, the October Revolution turned socialism from a book-based doctrine into a living reality. Since the October Revolution took place in the northern neighboring countries where the situation is the same as in China (where the feudal oppression was serious) or similar (with its economic and cultural backwardness), it is particularly attractive to the Chinese people. The birth of a new country in which workers and peasants are the masters of their own affairs enables the Chinese people who are now in misery and darkness to see a new way forward and a bright future and to provide the Chinese advanced elements with reasonable answers to various problems that the advanced elements are trying to explore.
