《世界经理人文摘》归纳出成功决策者的九大特质:一是对于混沌不明的状况,有极高的忍耐力。杰出的决策者能承受混沌不明的情况,不用白纸黑字规划好每一件事,只要抓住构架就能一步步地做决定。二是能够清楚分辩轻重缓急,排出先后顺序。三是善于倾听,不受各种表达方式的影响,随时抓住内容重点找出决策的重点信息。四是能够取得大家对决定的支持。五是不受刻板印象的影响,注意在不喜欢或不感兴趣的情况中获取新的信息情报。六是永远保持弹性。做决策要果断,但决策的原则要有弹性;接受不完善的决策,并能够随时放弃决策。七是能够同时采纳软性与硬性资料。八是能够看清事实,接受实际的代价与困难。九是能够避开暗藏的决策地雷区。
