2011年7月23日20时38分,浙江甬温线发生D301次列车与D3115次列车追尾事故。事故发生后,微博成为核心消息源,关于事故的第一手文字、图片信息在事发4分钟后就陆续通过“@袁小芫”、“@Smm_苗”、“@小刀”、“@羊圈圈羊”等人的微博率先传播开来,以往突发事件经过专业媒体“加工”后再报道的模式被完全打破。另外,以《南方都市报》为代表的部分传统媒体在报道过程中逐步从转引新华社稿件转向积极与微博网民合作,鼓励他们参与报道并取得了良好的效果,有效的公众参与推动了新闻生产的开放化和互动化。新时期,我国新闻媒体的突发事件报道机制开始发生变革。
