近两年来,美国和欧洲各国都相继公布一些有关客运航天飞机构想。日本也开始研究开发30马赫数的空天飞机。多种方案中,以英国的霍托尔最为先进。本文论述了霍托尔航天飞机的开发背景及其机体结构的有关情况。介绍了霍托尔拟将采用的发动机和霍托尔的研制前景,以及霍托尔的代替方案桑格尔。最后还谈到了美、苏、日等国航天飞机的状况和今后设想。
