During the five years since the implementation of the “National Key Basic Research and Development Program” “973 ” project and the “Basic Research of the Major Frozen Soil Engineering of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau” (2012CB026100), around the mutual thermal mechanism of structures and their response process to the change of permafrost environment, The evaluation methods and theories of the stability of structures in the permafrost regions and the service performance of the project, the systematic research on the three major scientific problems of the hazard factors and disaster assessment index system of the structures in the permafrost zone. The spatial and temporal evolution of permafrost and its disasters in the corridor, the multi-factor coupling mechanism of thermal and stress response in permafrost foundation, the evaluation and prediction of the stability and service performance of the permafrost engineering structures, the interaction of the structures of the permafrost engineering corridor and its Conducted a systematic and comprehensive basic research in the aspects of the response to environmental changes, the disaster assessment of permafrost engineering and its prevention and control measures, promoted the further development of the discipline of permafrost, and maintained the international leading position in the research of permafrost engineering in our country. The results will provide a scientific basis for the planning, construction, maintenance and construction of the ecological environment barrier in the construction of major frozen soil in the plateau engineering corridor. This article introduces the main outstanding progress of the project research and prospects the future research work.
