教学语言是教师组织课堂教学的有利武器,也是开展师生互动交流的重要工具,老师们在课前预设时往往会对教学语言作精心考虑和安排,努力追求精致和完美,以便更好地服务于自身的课堂教学。就英语学科而言,其课程性质和特点决定了英语教学语言必须融入一种新的元素,那就是体态语言。这是一种无声的语言,却能收到“无声胜有声”的效果,因此颇受广大英语教师的青睐。灵活、适当、合理、充分地利用体态语言能活跃课堂氛围,调动学生的热情,能启发学生的想象思维,激发学生的学习兴趣,能有效地辅助课堂教学,及时地把握和调控教学活动,解决沟通和理解的障碍,从而将英语课堂领入一个全新的境界。
