Located on the Kowloon-Canton Railway’s Hung Hom Station near the high-rise campus building, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s new campus. The design mainly aims to break through the typical “podium + tower” two-stage standard building model in Hong Kong in an attempt to transform the design pattern of traditional high-rise buildings “led by the elevator core” into “vertically oriented Walking experience-led design ”with a view to achieving an innovation in the morphology of high-rise buildings. The design, in addition to strategically transforming the podium into several rising plazas, divides the tower’s volume into modular quantum units that are interleaved with the sequence of sky gardens to form a series of vertical public space.
