According to a monthly study in the Journal of Internal Medicine, women who drink more than two cups of tea a day have a lower risk of ovarian cancer than women who never drink or rarely drink tea, and have a 46% lower risk of ovarian cancer. Suzanne Larson and Alicia? Volk of the Swedish National Institute of Environmental Medicine in Sweden conducted a follow-up survey of 61,057 women aged 40-76 in Sweden. Of the subjects, 68% had tea drinking habits and mainly used black tea. In the nearly 15-year follow-up survey, 301 people later diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The study showed that women who drank more than two cups a day reduced their risk of ovarian cancer by 46% compared with those who never drank tea.
