Neonatal asphyxia refers to the fetus because of intrauterine distress caused by hypoxia resulting in the clinical manifestations of respiratory failure after birth. [1] It is one of the main causes of neonatal perinatal death. After asphyxiation, hypoxia can adversely affect the nervous system and various organs of children. Severe asphyxiation can lead to irreversible ischemia and hypoxic brain Damage, resulting in mental retardation in children, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and other sequelae, and some even life-long disability. Therefore, doing a good job of neonatal asphyxia rescue is one of the keys to reduce the complications of asphyxia and reduce the rate of perinatal mortality and disability.
