曹雪芹与简·奥斯汀都是18世纪中国和英国的现实主义作家,其代表作《红楼梦》与《傲慢与偏见》都为世界级脍炙人口的名作。同是婚姻爱情的话题,在不同的时代背景下,也表现出中西不同的婚姻观。18—19世纪的中国是一个以封建专制为主导,资本主义有所萌芽的社会,而同时期的英国则是一个资本主义迅速发展的时代,不同的背景孕育不同的婚恋观。本文通过对同一时期两部文学作品《傲慢与偏见》和《红楼梦》的文本分析,阐述其不同的婚姻观 Both Cao Xueqin and Jane Austen were realist writers in China and the United Kingdom in the 18th century. Their masterpieces Dream of Red Mansions and Pride and Prejudice are world-class masterpieces. The same topic is the topic of marriage and love. In different times, it shows the different view of marriage between China and the West. In the 18th and 19th centuries, China was dominated by feudal autocracy and capitalism was sprouting. Meanwhile, Britain in the same period was an era of rapid capitalism development. Different backgrounds gave birth to different viewpoints on love and marriage. By analyzing the texts of Pride and Prejudice and A Dream of Red Mansions in two literary works during the same period, this essay expounds its different view of marriage
