硬泡沫塑料作为结构材料获得了越来越广泛的应用。为了评价由硬泡沫塑料制造的构件和建筑物的承压性能,必须找些一些适当的、能予测硬泡沫塑料长期变形性能的试验方法。现在对于予测聚合物材料的长期变形性能广泛地运用温度——时间和应力——时间类推法。因为泡沫塑料是具有明显的物理学上的不均匀性——固相与气相交替相间——的聚合材料,因此对于整体聚合材料试样显然不能机械地搬用上面所说的方法。
As a structural material, rigid foams are gaining more and more widespread use. In order to evaluate the pressure-bearing properties of components and structures made of rigid foam, some suitable test methods to predict the long-term deformation properties of the rigid foam must be found. The temperature-time and stress-time analogies are now widely used to predict the long-term deformation properties of polymer materials. Because foamed plastics are polymeric materials with significant physical inhomogeneities - alternating solid and gas phases - it is clear that samples of monolithic polymeric material can not mechanically be used in the manner described above.
