This article begins with Liu Qingbang’s “Ballads on the Plains” and “Moonlight over the Moon” novels, and explores its “history” writing and humane care under the civilian’s standpoint. Starting from the civilian standpoint, Liu Qingbang abandoned grand narratives, suspended his enlightenment posture, focused his brushwork on the tragic fate of the minor and presented a real dig to the daily life scene of the people. The civil position of the writer is also reflected in a kind of value orientation, showing both independent cultural critical awareness and intense humanistic concern in the depths of history.
