This article reports an example of allergic dermatitis caused by exposure to glutaraldehyde (GTA) in the air. GTA is commonly used as a disinfectant for medical institutions. Medical workers have become more and more common problems for fear of AIDS and other infectious diseases, strengthening their routine of cleaning and disinfection. Case Report A 56-year-old woman who worked in the Respiratory Therapy Department of the hospital engaged in the cleaning and care of respiratory devices. She started using a more complicated and time-consuming system of cleaning and disinfecting instruments several months before the onset of dermatitis, Including the use of Cidex, a 2% GTA containing alcohol water-soluble
