This paper comprehensively analyzes the technical and economical performance of optical fiber transmission mode, microwave, local telephone cable and PCM transmission mode; discusses the application of optical fiber transmission technology in agricultural networking; and introduces the measures to further reduce the cost of agricultural digital optical cable communication facilities.
