The anti-inflammatory effect of recombinant human Superoxide dismutase (rh SOD) on noninfectious inflammation was observed through a classic inflammatory model of carrageenan-induced foot edema in rats. It was confirmed that Intravenous rh SOD (7000 U / kg ~ 10 000 U / kg) significantly inhibited foot swelling in rats, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group (P <0.001), increasing the dosage and frequency of administration can be increased Anti-inflammatory effect. This result lays the foundation for further exploring the mechanism of rh SOD anti-radiation damage.
