In order to test the tensile properties of high, medium and high strength steel, Ansteel Steel Research Institute independently designed and manufactured DY-1 electronic extensometer. The instrument consists of a unique 5000 Hz differential transformer feedback “closed-loop” automatic control system. After preliminary trial, the effect is good. The stress-strain curve of 500-1000 times can be given automatically.
