This article reports a multi-planar three-dimensional display system developed by the Joint Laboratory of Texas Instruments. This display system uses a modulated laser beam synchronized with the moving display to address the points of the space object. The display system overcomes some of the limitations of previous zoom mirror multiplanar display systems and provides a three-dimensional display system with great potential and flexibility. This display system produces realistic three-dimensional images that can be viewed from any angle. Addressing the display volume of the number of lasers is the only factor limiting the display resolution. Potential applications include: Aviation (FAA), Space Surveillance, Judgment of Navigation Conditions, Meteorological Map Analysis, Medical Image, Molecular Structure, Culture, Education and Complex Information Processing.
