An economical design method of active RC integrated filter is introduced. The complex filter network is decomposed into links to second-order filter sections consisting of a tantalum thin-film RC network and an integrated operational amplifier. Two building block units are effective for any desired decile frequency and any desired filter function (ie low pass, high pass, band pass, band stop, all pass, etc.). A block unit low Q, and includes an amplifier; the other block unit to achieve high-Q, contains two amplifiers.
