Recently, when I was in the grassroots level, I found that there are 19 members in a village in the west of Huangyan District, 13 of whom are over 60 years of age. Three of them are between the ages of 50 and 60, and only three of them are aged 35 to 40 between. The age of the village members aging is alarming. It is said that other villages also have similar phenomenon. It is understood that the village party branch has not developed a new party for 10 consecutive years. Why does this happen? Is it because the young people in the village do not want to join the party? No; it is not passed by the party at the next level for approval? The main reason is that the individual leadership of the party branches in the village is jealous of envy and jealousy and is afraid that absorbing young people into the party will endanger their own status and power. To this end, individual leaders not only failed to actively support those who joined the party in the village but also adopted measures such as card, procrastination and interference to prevent them from joining the party.
