通过对三省一市若干不同等级公路和城市道路车辆轮迹横向分布规律的观测和分析,叙述了轮迹横向分布规律的观测方法与数据整理方法;分析了交通组织管理方式、车道(或路面)宽度、交通量及交通组成等因素对横向分布频率图形及其峰值的影响;并根据上述影响因素和实测资料得出五种类别典型路段中轮迹横布频率曲线图形和它们中一条车道的分布频率数值。最后,提出了路面结构设计中车辆轮迹横向分布系数建议值。
