学徒制是职业教育最古老的培训方式,最初表现为父子相传或师徒相传,其特征都是在生产过程中由经验丰富的师傅向其弟子传授该行业的基本技能。这时的学徒仅是一种培养手工工人的制度,同学校教育毫无关联,更不是教育制度的组成部分。然而,随着现代工业和技术的发展,我们今天所谓的学徒制已经不再是传统意义上的师徒传递,而是演变成了一种把工作岗位训练同学校课堂技术教学相结合的、为各行各业培养一线操作人员的培训系统。
