Fifty-eight patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with DPN were randomly divided into treatment group (n = 32) and control group (n = 26) .On the basis of controlling blood glucose, the patients in treatment group were given sodium ozagrel 80mg and buflomedil 200mg intravenously. Danshen injection 20ml intravenous infusion for 14 days. Results: There was no significant difference in the course of disease, blood pressure, blood glucose, blood lipids and peripheral nervous system between the two groups before treatment (P> 0.05). The pain, numbness and sensory abnormalities in the treatment group were alleviated compared with those in the control group, and the knee tendon reflexes also improved (P <0.05). Meanwhile, the conduction velocity of the median nerve and peroneal nerve was significantly faster than that before treatment (P <0.01) Before and after treatment there was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Conclusion: The combination of ozagrel sodium and buflomedil hydrochloride can improve diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and its clinical application is safe and effective.
