海南岛南岸的珊瑚礁,是我国全新世珊瑚岸礁最为发育的地区之一,仅次于台湾岛南端的恒春半岛沿岸。前人从生物学、地貌学和地质学角度对海南岛南岸的珊瑚礁进行过较为广泛的研究。作者报道过崖县鹿回头水尾岭剖面珊瑚礁样品的C~(14)年代测定结果。1979年底至1980年初,作者在海南岛南岸东起小东海沿岸西至西瑁岛西岸地区进行了野外调查与采样。根据野外和室内分析资料,本文公布了一批新测试的C~(14)年代数据,并进一步讨论了全新世珊瑚礁的发育历史及其与海岸变迁、海面变化和地壳运动的关系等问题。
Coral reefs on the south bank of Hainan Island are one of the most developed coral reefs in the Holocene in our country, second only to the Hengchun Peninsula along the southern tip of Taiwan Island. Previous studies of coral reefs on the southern coast of Hainan Island have been conducted by researchers from the aspects of biology, geomorphology and geology. The authors reported C ~ (14) dating results of coral reef samples from the Shuiwailing section of Luhuitou in Yaxian County. From the end of 1979 to the beginning of 1980, the author conducted field surveys and samplings on the south bank of Hainan Island from the west of the Xiaogonghai coast to the west coast of Xishuangbanna. Based on field and laboratory analysis data, a series of C 14 datasets of new tests were published in this paper. The history of Holocene coral reefs and their relationship with coastal changes, sea surface changes and crustal movements were also discussed.
