将滑胎车调整为旅行摩托车,乍一听似乎有些疯狂,但是仔细想想,其实很有脉脉相通之处:出行时可能遭遇各种路况,如沥青路、水泥路、坑洼路面、沙土路、搓衣板路等,需要通吃能力很强的车型。滑胎车在这方面优势明显,凭借宽裕的最小离地间隙、长行程的悬挂系统等越野摩托车特征,轻松应付糟糕路面。同时又安装了适合公路的小直径轮辋、轮胎等装备,适应沥青路面,公路疾驰起来轻盈快捷,让人感觉爽快惬意。正是鉴于这种想法,KTM首开先河,以滑胎车为基础推出了旅行摩托车。
