张婉婷的每一部电影都在以自觉或不自觉的方式书写着文化乡愁。她的“移民三部曲”是通过生活在海外的中国人来进行“文化寻根”之旅,《宋氏三姐妹》以当代香港人的视点来反思祖国的近现代史,展开“历史寻根”之旅,而《北京乐与路》是“叩问现实”之旅。张婉婷是在97回归前后从事电影创作的。在国族认同这一重要问题上,张婉婷的电影文本提供了一则真实、生动、内涵丰富而又具有代表性的个案。这是张婉婷电影作品最大的价值之所在。
Every film by Chang Wanting is consciously or unconsciously written about cultural nostalgia. Her “Immigrant Trilogy” is a journey of “cultural roots” through Chinese people living overseas. The “Three Sisters of Songs” reflect the modern history of the motherland from the point of view of contemporary Hong Kong people. “Historical Roots ” journey, and “Beijing music and the road ” is “Realistic ” trip. Zhang Wanting was engaged in film creation before and after the return of 97. On the important issue of national identity, Zhang Wanting’s movie text provides a true, vivid and rich connotation of the representative cases. This is the most valuable value of Zhang Wanting’s film work.
