21世纪,人类已经步入一个全新的知识经济时代,顾名思义,知识经济是以知识为中心的智慧型经济,它的核心是创新。当今世界各国的竞争能力,决定着一个国家、一个民族的发展进程,而一个国家的竞争能力的强弱就是看这个民族的创新能力是否过高。创新是民族不断进步的灵魂,因此初中的地理教育也注重学生的创新能力的培养。初中的地理教育不单单是培养学生暂时的掌握知识的能力,更要为学生未来的、全面的发展着想,符合时代的要求,符合社会的发展。初中地理教育还要注重培养学生的实践能力,尊重学生的想法,不打压任何一个学生的创新性的想法,学生有任何的小创意都应予以适当的鼓励,从而激发学生学习地理的热情,注重创新思维的同时,培养学生树立正确的人生观、社会观以及价值观。未来的社会判定一个人是否优秀的标准不单单是看成绩,更注重一个人的品行、操守,为人处事的能力,因此对学生的培养应该是全面的,而不是为了应付考试的死成绩。

Geography education in junior middle school should also focus on cultivating students ’practical abilities, respecting students’ ideas, not suppressing any innovative ideas of students, and any student’s creative ideas should be appropriately encouraged to inspire students to learn geography’s enthusiasm and stress While innovative thinking, students should be fostered to establish a correct outlook on life, social values and values.
