至今我国学者撰著及翻译过来的艺术哲学著作已经有十数部,兹谈其中四本。一是德国古典哲学代表者之一谢林的《艺术哲学》(1802—1805),他试图规定艺术在宇宙中的位置,用他在分析自然时所形成的唯心主义辩证法对艺术进行探考,提出艺术是绝对的自我直观,从而建立新的美学。二是丹纳的《艺术哲学》(1865—1869),依据种族、环境、时代三个因素,并从“历史出发”考察西方历史上大量艺术事实,阐述其基本美学观念;丹纳对中国影响甚大。三是杜威的《艺术即经验》(1934),倡导回到日常生活的艺术理论,提出艺术不是用于外在的目的,其功能在于加强生活的经验,而不是提供某种指向外在事务的认识;杜威的艺术哲学在今天看来质朴而亲切,应该研究和借鉴。四是蔡仪的《新艺术论》(1942),以唯物主义认识论阐述艺术是现实生活的反映或认识,艺术的最高成就在于真实性和典型性;在当时,它是学术思想的最前沿,处于先锋地位。拙著《艺术哲学读本》深受吾师蔡仪先生的影响。
Up to now, there are dozens of works of art philosophy written and translated by our scholars, and I will talk about four of them. One is Xie Lin's “Philosophy of Art” (1802-1805), one of the representatives of classical philosophy in Germany. He tries to define the position of art in the universe and explore the art with his idealism dialectics formed when analyzing nature. Proposed art is absolutely self-intuitive, so as to establish a new aesthetics. Second, Dana's “Philosophy of Art” (1865-1869) examines a large number of artistic facts in Western history based on race, environment and times and from the perspective of history. China has a huge impact. Third, Dewey's “Art as Experience” (1934) advocates an art theory that returns to everyday life, arguing that art is not intended for extrinsic purposes and that its function is to reinforce the experience of life rather than provide something that points to external affairs Understanding; Dewey's philosophy of art seems simple and cordial today, we should study and learn from. Fourth, Cai Yi's “Art Theory of the New Art” (1942) elaborates art as the reflection or cognition of real life based on epistemological theory of materialism. The supreme achievement of art lies in its authenticity and typicality. At the time, it was the forefront of academic thought, In a pioneering position. My book Art Philosophy Reader was greatly influenced by Mr. Cai Yi.
