连续相位调制(CPM)属于恒包络的数字调制技术,这一特性使它们特别适用于非线性信道和衰落信道。CPM调制系统可以分解为一个连续相位编码器(CPE)级联一个无记忆调制器(MM),这使得多种卷积码与CPM结合构成新的调制方案成为可能,例如SC-CPM和P-CPM。文章首先提出了两种应用了ECE的改进的编码CPM调制系统,然后主要从误码率性能方面考虑给出了ECE的设计方案,仿真结果表明通过这种方法设计的ECE可以改善编码CPM调制系统的误码率性能。
Continuous phase modulation (CPM) is a constant envelope digital modulation technique that makes them especially suitable for nonlinear and fading channels. The CPM modulation system can be decomposed into a continuous phase encoder (CPE) cascaded with a memoryless modulator (MM), which makes it possible to combine a variety of convolutional codes with CPM to form new modulation schemes such as SC-CPM and P- CPM. Firstly, the paper proposes two improved CPM modulation systems using ECE, and then presents the design scheme of ECE mainly from the aspect of bit error rate performance. The simulation results show that the ECE designed by this method can improve the performance of coding CPM modulation system Bit error rate performance.
