The New York Whitney Art Biennale This year’s 75th New York Whitney Biennale does not have a title, but with the direction of curating “2010”, we continue to target young artists and creative experiments. 55 exhibitors, the youngest are 23-year-old photographer Tam Tran, and the oldest is Lorraine O’Grady, a 75-year-old concept artist. Another pioneering event of this session is that each artist has only one or a series of works, avoiding the phenomenon of “mini-retrospective” held at the previous Biennale. Each of the five-floor exhibition halls Features such as videos and short films will be exhibited independently on the third floor, while art galleries will be moved to the fifth floor. The biennale was co-produced by famed Italian curator Francesco Bonami and aide Gary Carrion-Murayarn. The two curators showed that the importance of the biennial is predictive of the future, and that innovation and forward-looking are still the principle.
