提出一种基于光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)的可调谐双向光分插复用器(Bi-OADM),并对该OADM进行了理论分析和实验搭建。分别利用开环和闭环压电陶瓷(PZT)对OADM的上/下载波长进行调谐,调谐范围可达到6 nm(商用的8波长复用系统波长范围为5.6 nm),实验发现在小电压时采用开环控制,在大于80 V时采用闭环控制,加载电压和卸载电压曲线重复性好。与此同时利用光开关和可选择路径机制,使OADM具有双向传输的功能,实验结果显示可调谐Bi-OADM的插入损耗能降低到4 d B,由于采用了双向结构,当某一方向的光路(顺行)发生断路时,另一方向(逆行)能够继续传输信号,因此大大提高了OADM的可靠性。
A tunable bidirectional optical add-drop multiplexer (Bi-OADM) based on Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is proposed. The theoretical analysis and experimental setup of the OADM are also given. The up / down wavelength of the OADM was tuned using open-loop and closed-loop piezoceramics (PZTs) respectively, with a tuning range of up to 6 nm (a commercial 8-wavelength multiplex system with a wavelength range of 5.6 nm). Experiments showed that at low voltages Open-loop control, closed-loop control at> 80 V, good load voltage and unload voltage curve repeatability. At the same time, the optical switch and the alternative path mechanism are used to make the OADM function bidirectionally. The experimental results show that the insertion loss of the tunable Bi-OADM can be reduced to 4 dB. Due to the bidirectional structure, when the optical path in one direction (Forward), the other direction (reverse) can continue to transmit signals, thus greatly improving the reliability of the OADM.
