读5月18日《北京晚报》所载郑恩波《为戈宝老送行》,得悉戈宝权先生于5月15日在南京病故。这个不幸的消息,使人对这位著名的作家、翻译家的逝世,感到十分悲痛。由于戈宝权先生的逝世,使我想起了去年5月我在香港艺术中心讲课时,见到友人翰墨轩主人许礼平先生收藏的两本题名册,册中题名人物二三百余人,是1935年(民国二十四年)2月18日上午上海各界以吴铁城市长为上持人举办的《欢送梅兰芳
Reading Cheng Ebo, contained in the Beijing Evening News on May 18, reads as “Old Gebao’s Trip,” and learned that Mr. Ge Baoquan died on May 15 in Nanjing.
