The dual tone of vocabulary has caused profound changes in the Chinese language. This article explores the influence of verb dual disyllables on its argument structure to see the possible influence of disyllables on Chinese syntax. The study found that the disyllabicization caused some changes in the structure of the argument of some verbs. The general trend is that the number of arguments decreases. In modern Chinese, the predominantly mono-verbs can appear in the structure of administration (ie, structures that can add new arguments beyond the conventional argument), and diabolic verbs generally do not appear in the administration structure. The verbal disyllabification lost the ability to apply the structure, which may be related to the absence of the application suffix in ancient Chinese and the subsequent application of the suffix. Dual-tone has brought changes in Chinese lexical and thus affect the syntactic performance.
