北师大、华中师大、南京师大合辑的《无机化学》教材中,对SO_2、SO_3的结构采用杂化轨道理论和离域π健解释.其中关于SO_2的结构及液、固态SO_3的结构学生都比较容易理解.但对气态SO_3的结构则较难理解.教材中把气态单分子SO_3的平面三角形结构解释为中心硫原子采用SP~2杂化,形成三个σ键,一个4原子6电子离域π键π_4~6,S—O键具有双键特征.这里并没有解释硫原子是怎样杂化,如何成键.因此,学生按教材上册P_(270)所论述的杂化方法,推测硫原子的杂化过程为:
