The study of tumorigenicity is one of the important work in the genetic analysis of Ti plasmid and the construction of Ti plasmid vector. In the past, the analysis of Ti plasmid tumorigenic gene was mostly done by inoculation of tobacco, tomato seedlings or broken stem to determine the Tumorigenicity. These methods take time and effort. Recently, we developed an approach to rapidly identify A. tumefaciens Ti plasmid tumorigenesis based on the work of Anad et al. The method can be observed in the laboratory conditions in 12-22 days according to species-specific tumorigenicity, and the formation of the tumor can be directly transferred to hormone-free MS medium
