新时期工会工作环境的特点是复杂、多变、可知的。世界大局稳定,地区冲突不断,经济走向一体化。国内政治经济改革开放不断深入。国家执行由计划管理向法制为手段的宏观调控,微观搞活,科技日新月异,思想活跃,社会深层次问题出现,工会工作向高层次发展,从源头参与决策、管理、监督,维护职工基本权益为主要内容。为适应新形势发展需要,工会要加强自身思想和组织建设,加强教职工代表大会的权力和作用,工会干部要深入职工群众,倾听职工群众呼声,在实际工作中多为职工群众办好事、实事。这样以立体形式全方位体现现代工会是广大职工群众合理又合法的权益的代表者和维护者的角色。
