The impact of neutrons on the hematopoietic system has been reported. Its role is affirmative. However, studies on the characteristics of neutron-induced hematopoietic injury and repair are still not systematic and complete, and the issue of recovery after irradiation is still controversial. Therefore, further comparative study of neutron and γ-ray irradiation hematopoietic system injury and repair features, understanding of the similarities and differences between the two ray effects, estimating the potential neutron irradiation animals may be beneficial to the treatment.
