The 17 estrogen receptor (ER) in 41 cases of female breast cancer patients were determined by 17-FE cytochemistry. The relationship between estrogen receptor (ER) and 5-FU sensitivity of tumor cells was observed. The average ER positive rate increased from 12.4% to 18.6% (P <0.02) after 30 cases of short-term chemotherapy. ER-positive patients increased more obviously before chemotherapy, which indicated that ER-negative cells were poorly differentiated and more sensitive to 5-FU. 11 cases of primary cell culture and drug sensitivity test, high-sensitive group of ER-positive cells and low ER nucleus ER positive rate, suggesting that ER status to a certain extent, the sensitivity of tumor cells to chemotherapeutic drugs.
