A self-designed method was used to determine the nutrient fluxes at the sediment-water interface in shrimp culture. The results showed that the diffusion of nutrients from the sediment into the aquaculture water throughout the shrimp culture season; the maximum value of the flux appeared in the organic matter pollution area in the later culture, that is, the erbium area; in the contaminated area, However, no obvious difference with the breeding season was found in the non-polluted area. The diffusive flux in the polluted area was always higher than that in the non-polluted area, and the difference gradually increased with the time of the breeding. In addition, differences in nutrient fluxes between new and old shrimp ponds were also compared. The effects of sediment dissolved nutrients on the shrimp culture environment were discussed preliminarily.
