对２３５个小麦品种（系）成熟期穗发芽抗性鉴定的研究结果表明，红粒品种普遍抗穗发芽，但不少白粒品种抗性亦较强，颖壳颜色与抗性无关，山西省育成品种（系）的抗性稍差于国外品种。从山西省的１５２份白粒品种中鉴定出８份较抗穗发芽的品种，以供育种及专题研究利用。
The results of sprouting resistance test of 235 wheat cultivars (lines) at maturity showed that the red varieties generally resisted spike germination, but many cultivars of white varieties were also resistant. The glume color had no relation with the resistance. Shanxi Province Bred varieties (lines) are slightly less resistant to foreign varieties. Eighty-two spike-resistant varieties were identified from 152 white-grained varieties in Shanxi Province for breeding and special research use.
