In his unique drama language, the African American dramatist Auguste Wilson shows in his Pittsburgh Songs, composed of ten plays, the struggle of American blacks in the 20th century to be enslaved, exploited and strived for their equal rights history. In the play, he focuses on the living condition of blacks as an individual in the historical environment and reflects the background of the times reflected by each drama through the life of ordinary people. His characters in the play tell their own past, looking for self, but also the history of African Americans show the stage on the stage of drama. In this historical picture, South feelings are its keynote, while Bruce music is the consistent main line. As a black playwright, he emphasized that Bruce music is the carrier of black culture. It contains the emotions of the blacks and is a way of passing on their history. August Wilson is one of the most successful playwrights in the history of contemporary American theater.
