评价活性白土的质量,目前广泛采用的是脱色力、吸蓝量等参数。本文讨论了活化蒙脱石 b 轴有序度参数 H/W值及引起 H/W 值变化的八面体结构中(Fe+Mg+Al)溶出量、Si/(Fe+Mg+Al)原子比与脱色力、最佳活化酸度之间的关系。当活化蒙脱石八面体(Fe+Mg+Al)溶出量为1/3~1/2时,b 轴有序度降低幅度 a 在20%~50%之间,这时活化蒙脱石具有最大外表面积、集合体形态呈边一面接触,因而活性白土处于最佳吸附脱色状态,而且具有最大脱色能力。H/W 值对选择活性白土原料、评价和监控活性白土质量,比其它参数更快速、简便、有效。
