中长跑被认为是速度耐力项目。速度耐力是长时间维持一定较高速度水平的能力,最大速度是指在一定距离内最快的位移速度,运动员最大速度的水平往是战术安排和比赛最后阶段决定胜负的关键。中长跑是一项体能主导类周期性项目。本文运用运动训练学原理,通过文献、比较及逻辑分析等方法,尝试结合中长跑项目的特征,分析其体能的构成,探索中长跑训练的内容与方法,为从事中长跑训练的教练员和运动员提供参考。
