越南政府的一名官员日前说，今年将用４３０万美元（约合６００亿越盾）的资金开展防治艾滋病工作。由于艾滋病正在越南以惊人的速度蔓延，今年用于防治艾滋病的资金比去年增加了１０亿越盾。 这笔资金主要用来进行教育工作，目的在于加强越南民众预防艾滋病和其他性病的意识。
An official of the Vietnamese government said a few days ago that it will use 4.3 million U.S. dollars (about 60 billion VND) funds to carry out anti-AIDS work. As AIDS is spreading in Vietnam at an alarming rate, the funds used to fight AIDS this year have increased by 1 billion VND from last year. This fund is mainly used for education work. The purpose is to strengthen the Vietnamese people’s awareness of preventing AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.
