Xinqiao Vocational and Technical College is one of the first batch of full-time private higher vocational and technical colleges in Shanghai which is approved by the Ministry of Education and set up independently in the national enrollment plan. It is also one of the earliest ones selected by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission as one of the pilot institutions for independent enrollment according to law. In 2006 by the municipal government as ”Shanghai city
